Mounting Systems
Eco-nomical supplies the PV Light mounting system.
It comprises stainless steel roof anchors, extruded aluminium rails, and a
variety of clips and brackets to fasten the modules. This system enables a
professional job to be completed relatively quickly and easily. However it
is not cheap, reckon on about £50-£80 per module. What you need depends on
the number and layout of modules, so please email or call us for a quote.
We need to know roof type, number of modules, numbers of rows and columns, and
whether the panels are landscape or portrait format. The installation
manual for this system is available for download
here.
It is possible to create your own mounting system from
standard angle, T and channel extrusions, trading lower cost for greater effort.
We are happy to supply clips and roof anchors to customers proposing to do this,
thus improving the appearance and speed of assembly, without a great cost
penalty.
Cabling
We currently supply black 4mm pv cable. We plan to
offer connectors and crimping tools shortly.
