Ian Smith of Solent Solar installed a solar hot water system at Yarmouth Harbour Offices on the Isle of Wight, where visiting boat crews take some 25000 showers per year! Ian specified an array of 4 Eco-58-1800-20 and 2 Eco-1800-30 collectors. Water is stored in three 450 litre pressurised cylinders which are heated sequentially, all controlled by a Resol E controller. The system is predicted to provide over 16MWh per annum.
